The Clearance Officer manages the ship’s clearance operations in line with local and MSC requirements. He / She maintains accurate guest documentation and information, to ensure the ship is granted a timely and compliant clearance in port and works diplomatically with all shoreside authorities Manages the collection of documentation from guests as per local requirements.



  • To prepare, collect, and provide all the necessary documents and custom paper to the Port Authorities.
  • He/she is required to treat the Guest’s sensitive data according to the Standard Procedures under the supervision of the Finance Director.



  • Is Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in Italian is a major benefit and may be a requirement.
  • The ability to speak, read and write in any other major language is considered a major advantage.



  • Possess a valid passport and seaman book.
