To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
1. Qualifications:
• VTCT/NVQ Level 3 qualification or an international equivalent
• At least one of the following certifications: Cidesco, CIBTAC, IHBC, BTEC, CITY AND GUILDS, ITEC, Government accredited diploma, BTS
• Caribbean nationalities must have a certificate/diploma issued by the NCTVET (government)
• Swedish Massage certificate
• Referenced Spa work experience
• Facial & Body Electrics qualification
• Waxing
• Manicure & Pedicures
2. Experience: A minimum of one year working as a Beauty Therapist in a professional setting, with a focus on facials, massages, and other beauty services.
3. Languages: Fluency in English (at least a b1 level) is essential, along with the ability to communicate in at least one additional European language.
4. Skills: Strong technical and practical skills, excellent customer service, the ability to tailor services to guests’ needs, and excellent communication abilities.

Proven experience in the same or a similar SPA leadership role onboard a cruise ship or in a high-end wellness facility.
Strong background in SPA and wellness operations, including beauty, massage, fitness, and holistic therapies.
Experience in managing a diverse team of SPA professionals, including therapists, fitness instructors, and receptionists.
Demonstrated ability to drive sales and revenue within a SPA environment while ensuring the highest service standards.
Solid understanding of inventory management, scheduling, and daily operational logistics in a luxury SPA setting.
